“We did indeed have a wonderful time. Delightful cottage. Everything you could ask for and more. Delightful people, most kind and helpful. Magnificent scenery, Downright Awe-inspiring. And the silence. Pure beautiful silence. Reminds me of my childhood. How different Bruxelles is. All go go traffic and planes. Meetings and Talk and more Talk. I hope that we left the cottage as we ought to. It was just ten past ten when we pulled away. One thing I thought of when we were on the road is that good big teapot. We might have left it un-emptied. There was a half bottle of good port left over and a bottle of wine. I’m sure they will find a good home. Thank you again for being a good host.”
“Thank you so much for the great stay in your lovely cottage! Everything was fantastic and cosy, plenty of walking including Helvellyn (we were gifted a clear summit when we got there!), plenty of rain about, but that just added to our adventures!
The Northern Lakes are my happy place, Ullswater, the Helvellyn Range, and Glenridding my favourite places within that! Ullswater View Cottage is now the only place I will stay!”
